Before booking

Is there a deposit?

Good news: Your booking does not require a deposit.

Can I visit the apartment before I move in?

Of course, besides the 3D tour on our website, you are welcome to arrange a tour with us.

Is there a minimum length of stay?

Yes, the minimum length of stay in our apartments is 28 days. There are periods when individual bookings shorter than 28 days may be possible due to last minute cancellations. The best way to do this is to contact us directly by phone or email. 

Is there a 24/7 reception?

Yes, our reception is open around the clock. You can reach us at any time to ask questions or get help. And therefore check in at any time without any problems.

What kind of apartments do we offer?

In our house there are 207 apartments in total. They are divided into Studio Apartments and Studio Apartments Deluxe. The Studio Apartments are between 19 and 21 square meters and the Studio Apartments Deluxe are 24 square meters. Some apartments are additionally equipped with a small balcony.

Can two people move into one apartment?

We have a limited number of double rooms. Please contact us by e-mail or phone.

Can I sublet my apartment?

No, subletting or resale of any kind is not allowed.

How can I make a booking?

You can book directly on our website or fill out the booking form. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us by phone or send an email.

Can I extend my stay?

Yes, you can extend your stay if rooms are available. Please contact our reservation office to check availability and conditions.

How can I change or cancel my booking?

If you wish to change or cancel your booking, please contact our reservations office via phone or email. Please be aware of our cancellation policy and any applicable fees, which are stated in the booking conditions. We will be happy to assist you in adjusting or cancelling your booking in accordance with our policies.

How can I make a group booking?

For group bookings be it individual or corporate, please contact us via email. We will be happy to create a custom quote for your group

Your stay

Do you provide a post service?

Feel free to shop online! We take care of receiving all our letters and orders.

Are pets allowed?

Case per case, pet per pet: Depending on apartment availability, We might be able to welcome your lovely pet. Please feel free to contact us.

Is there a laundry room for guests?

Yes, we have a laundry room available for guests with washers and dryers.

Do you offer breakfast?

The Circus Living café, located in the building provides high-quality coffee and snacks.

Alternatively, there are many cafes and restaurants at Alexanderplatz or in the Friedrichshain district.

How often is the apartment cleaned?

Our apartments are cleaned every two weeks. This includes changing the bed linen and towels. If you require additional cleanings or towel changes, please speak to our reception staff and we will do our best to provide it to you.

Is there parking for bicycles?

Yes, we offer ample bicycle parking at the rear of our building. Your bikes can be safely parked there.

Conditions

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), Bank Transfer, Giro Cards, Google Pay, Apple Pay and Ali Pay. Please note that we require a valid credit card for booking.

What is the check-in and check-out procedure?

Check-in is possible from 15:00 at our reception. Check-out is until 11:00 am on the day of departure.

Do you offer luggage storage?

Yes, we provide luggage storage for our guests, both before check-in and after check-out.

When do I have to pay my monthly rent?

  • The first payment for 28 days of rent is due 2 months before the move-in date.

  • Upon arrival, a second payment for 28 days of rent is required.

  • Subsequently, payments are made every 28 days.

  • Upon contract termination, any remaining balance will be refunded

  • Payments can be made via bank transfer or credit card payment.

What is your cancellation policy?

The booking can be canceled for free with a full refund up to 60 days before check-in.

Are there places of interest and things to do nearby?

Yes, we are located only a 2-minute walk from the "Holzmarkt" and a 5-minute walk from the East Side Gallery in the middle of the transforming neighbourhood between the hotspots Friedrichshain and Mitte. Alexanderplatz is within walking distance or by S-Bahn. Be sure to check out our map and get to know our surroundings

How about public transport?

We are only a 5-minute walk from the Ostbahnhof, where you can quickly reach various parts of the city by S-Bahn Trains as well as Alexanderplatz, with access to the main U-bahn underground train lines (U8,U2,U5)

Registration

Is it possible to register the apartment?

Yes, all apartments can be officially registered with the registration office.

Why is it important to register?

In Germany, there is a registration requirement that requires you to register your change of residence with the registration office, regardless of whether you are moving within Berlin, from another city to Berlin, or from abroad to Berlin.

Which documents are required?

For registration you will need:

  • Proof of identity (identity card or passport)

  • Registration form (available online)

  • Civil status certificate (for the first registration in Berlin)

  • Housing provider confirmation.

 You will receive the confirmation of move-in from the housing provider (Wohnungsgeberbestätigung) from us. Either directly after booking by e-mail, otherwise, you are welcome to pick it up at the reception.

How to get an appointment?

Due to high demand and limited capacity at registration offices, scheduling appointments can be challenging.

Tip: New appointments are often released at 8 a.m. on weekdays, and short-term appointments may be available. You can register at any district office in Berlin, regardless of district.

What is the process to confirm the registration?

  • Step 1: Check out the official site of the registration office.

  • Step 2: Book an appointment to register.

  • Step 3: Compile all the required documents.

  • Step 4: Attend your appointment and receive an official certificate of housing registration.
